One of HFC's objectives is to disseminate information on Best Practice and share knowledge. We can either do this through our links to a wide range NHS organisations and Estates and Facilities Management related companies or through seeking advice directly from our Membership network.
HFC Membership applies to the Estates and Facilities Management function within the Member organisation as a whole which means that any number of contacts can be added to our mailing list to maximise the use of our services and receive best value from your Membership. Inclusion on our mailing list ensures that you will receive our monthly newsletters and occasional e-mails of interest to our Members.
One of the ways we can help Member organisations is to request advice from our Member network. Members have previously raised questions concerning a diverse range of topics covering everything from software recommendations for specific tasks to detailed questions concerning statutory returns. In this way, we are able to facilitate the sharing of knowledge and experience between Members.
Over the last two years, HFC has been working with national bodies to promote the interests of HFC Members. For instance, we have represented members at the London Fire Safety Concordat, and taken up the invitation to join the housing sector on a series of road shows relating to Fire Safety.
More recently, we have worked with BPA (British Parking Association) to represent the views of our members and the wider NHS E&FM community at Parliamentary level to address criticism of healthcare parking charges.
