Our Training Partner, Grovenbridge Academy (GA), is an approved centre of Constructing Excellence in Learning Limited (CELL). Constructing Excellence (CE), as the parent company of CELL and an awarding body for Ofqual, has merged with the Building Research Establishment (BRE) and, as a result, CELL is now owned by BRE. CELL’s awarding body function will now be placed within BRE Global, which operates a range of accreditation and certification schemes with all the appropriate management systems and quality assurance in place.
Internal meetings between CE and BRE have been held to review the current BRE Academy training offers, including what can be offered to members and to review the pre-merger proposals for CE approved training (as an alternative to full Ofqual accreditation) with the approved centres. The enhanced programme will be launched in partnership with BRE Academy.
However, as this all took place just a month ago and the exact operating detail for CELL is still to be developed, GA are assured that on a day-to-day basis this will have little effect on how GA works. It will, however, expose GA to a huge amount of training material from within the existing BRE Academy and hence will enable GA, and the other CELL centres, opportunities to expand their portfolio considerably.
The BRE brand is highly respected in a number of sectors and has for many years worked closely with the NHS and DH to improve overall performance in the Estates and Facilities Management functions.
HFC welcome this change and look forward to being able to offer our members richer and more varied training and upskilling programmes at the greatly discounted price we have maintained for several years.
We would be very happy to discuss with you your training needs and use our relationship with CELL to source the best possible solution to your needs.
